3rd Annual Young Women and Young Men In Harmony Festival

January 21, 2017, CSC hosted the 3rd Annual YWIH Festival at Princeton High School. The Southern Gateway Chorus fielded the first Young Men's Chorus for this event.  Generous grants and sponsorships from various organizations made this all possible.  The participants were generally aged 13-25 and came from all over the Tri-State area.  What fun they all had, and so did those who volunteerd throughout the day!  The performance for friends and family in the evening was smattered with Standing Ovations for the performers, including the YWIH Chorus, the YMIH Chorus, Cincinnati Sound Chorus, Infustion Quartet, the Reen Family Singers, and the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs Quartet.  The singers are all stoked for the upcoming Greater Cincinnati Harmony Festival, coming to Xavier University in the Summer of

CSC Welcomes New Members to Their First Show

Left to Right:

Donna Howard, Jennifer Burns, Kathleen Hautman, Bonita Brockert, Carrah LaSuer, and Tammye Kaper were welcomed by CSC to their first Show with Cincinnati Sound Chorus.  The Show, held at Mayerson JCC on December 3, 2016, was a huge success on many levels, not the least of which was the participation and talents added by these six wonderful ladies.  There is still room on our risers for women who love to sing.  Come any Monday night to the Valley Temple building at 145 Springfield Pike 45215.  We are there from 7 until 9:30 or so, with the doors open by 6:30.  We would be thrilled to present you a rose and a welcome at our next performance!  For more information, feel free to use the Contact Us tab here on our web site.

CSC Quartet sings National Anthem for Queen Bee Half Marathon

At the Third Annual Queen Bee Half Marathon on October 8, 2016, held on the streets of Cincinnati, one of our quartets (aka "Singamajigs") was invited to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" to kick off this women's footrace.  There were 4500 marathoners and 2500 for the four-mile race in attendance this year, plus hundreds and hundreds of supporters.  A CSC quartet has been invited for all three of the Queen Bees and this quartet has already been invited for the 2017 race as well.  It is an honor and a privilege to sing this very parriotic song at such a wonderful event.  Over $175,000 has been raised for charity from the three events to date.  The Queen Bee is part of the Flying Pig family of events.
