CURRENTLY INACTIVE (May 2020-...)
This is an ensemble of former and current Cincinnati Sound Chorus members who invest their time and talent to rehearse and perform and entertain as a "very large quartet” ("VLQ"). Sound Effects is currently on hiatus, but a similar small group can be formed for your event. Cincinnati Sound Chorus supports their efforts to perform in our community and provides a venue for those who can give more time and talent to improve their vocal skills. Sound Effects enjoys putting the pizzazz into their performances!!

History of leadership:
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Sound Effects became inactive. If the group becomes active again under this name, it will be posted here. Because it will surely be a different group of ladies, it will likely have an entirely new identity.
Joy Suellentrop (Paul Coleman's daughter) became SE Director in 2018.
Troy Kaper became interim "Supreme Musical Leader" in 2017.
Libby McCord was officially named Assistant Director of SE in 2013.

Lynn Hartmuth started directing in 2010, assisted by Susan Nemenz and Libby McCord.
Formed under the direction of Paul Coleman in 2009.
